Directions

Avoca Beach Hotel & Resort is located on the main road leading into Avoca from Kincumber and Terrigal. As a large property we have a number of different entries. For All Accommodation, Conferences and Weddings please use our Townsend Ave entrance and head to reception.

For Hotel patrons (Saltwater Bistro, the Sports Bar, and Bottleshop) please use the Avoca Drive entrance.

Avoca Beach is part of the NSW Central Coast, just over an hours drive from both Sydney and Newcastle.

Directions from Sydney (starting on the Pacific Highway or Pennant Hills Rd)

  • Take the Sydney – Newcastle Expressway (F3)

  • Take Gosford exit, which is approx 2 kms after the Mooney Mooney Bridge

  • Follow signs for Gosford until you see signs for Terrigal (stay on the main road, the Central Coast Highway)

  • Follow signs for Avoca / Terrigal

  • Make a right-hand turn from the Central Coast Highway at traffic lights onto Avoca Drive

  • Follow Avoca Drive through the suburbs of Green Point & Kincumber

  • After passing the Avoca Beach Bowling club turn right into Townsend Ave

  • After about 60m the entrance to Avoca Beach Hotel & Resort is on your left

     

Directions from Newcastle (starting on the Newcastle Expressway, the F3)

  • Take Gosford exit, approx 10 kms after the Wyong Exit

  • Follow signs for Gosford until you see signs for Terrigal (stay on the main road, the Central Coast Highway)

  • Follow signs for Avoca / Terrigal

  • Make a right-hand turn from the Central Coast Highway at traffic lights onto Avoca Drive

  • Follow Avoca Drive through the suburbs of Green Point & Kincumber

  • After passing the Avoca Beach Bowling club turn right into Townsend Ave

  • After about 60m the entrance to Avoca Beach Hotel & Resort is on your left
